Music composer Palash Muchhal is all set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming film Ardh.
He has composed music for films such as Dishkiyaoon (2014), Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho (2015) and Sweetiee Weds NRI (2017).
Ardh will mark the Hindi cinema debut of actress Rubina Dilaik, who confirmed the news about the film on Twitter.
Dilaik has worked in several TV shows and participated in Bigg Boss 14, emerging as the winner of the show. Actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav and TV actor Hiten Tejwani will also star in the film.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news about the film’s announcement on Twitter, saying, “Rubina Dilaik makes big-screen debut ... Music composer Palaash Muchhal — who turns director with Ardh — has signed Rubina Dilaik for the film... Palaash has also signed Hiten Tejwani for the project... Ardh stars Rajpal Yadav... Filming starts Sept 2021.”
