Manan Bhardwaj, who broke through on the music scene with the single ‘Teri Aakhon Mein’, is preparing to compose music for his first film by himself. The composer will receive solo credit for the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Hit (2020) starring Vishwak Sen.
The newcomer is also composing the Hindi songs of South star Prabhas’s upcoming film Radhe Shyam along with Mithoon. Justin Prabhakaran will compose the songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The single ‘Teri Aakhon Mein’, featuring Divya Khosla Kumar, was a duet sung by Darshan Raval and Neha Kakkar. Written by Kumaar, it was released last October.
Bhardwaj is keen to embark upon this new endeavour. “I am really grateful to T-Series for trusting me yet again with one of their big projects. I am really excited about the film and I will try my best to give the audience something new this time," he said.
He continued, “Between COVID-19 restrictions and major technology innovations, we were all working from the comfort of our home and studio for a while. But off late, I am working with producers and directors of the Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam or Rajkummar Rao’s HIT, in different cities by physically meeting them. Thanks to vaccination and other norms in place, music sittings are like the earlier days.”
The Hindi remake of Hit will star Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra. Sailesh Kolanu is returning to helm the Hindi version.
