Actress Rituparna Sengupta will be seen with Riteish Deshmukh in Kabir Lal’s Bengali remake of the Spanish horror film Julia’s Eyes (2010).

The film, titled Antardrishti, also features Indrajit Chakraborty and Sean Banerjee in crucial roles.

The renowned cinematographer has also announced Tamil, Marathi and Telugu remakes of the same film.

In the film, Deshmukh will be seen in the cameo role of the boss of Sengupta’s character at a prize distribution ceremony.

Sengupta had previously worked with Deshmukh in David Dhawan’s Do Knot Disturb (2009).

“He had an entire day's shooting schedule with us. We had a good experience,” said the National award-winning actress.

After shooting in Dehradun, the team of Antardrishti is currently shooting in Mumbai. According to Sengupta, the Bengali remake of the horror film will be released first.

While shooting, Deshmukh reportedly expressed his regard for Bengali cinema and had a fulfilling experience working with both Kabir Lal and Sengupta.

“Ritesh said he will definitely work in a Bengali film if he gets a good script," Sengupta said. "He is aware of the legacy and heritage of Bengali cinema.”
