The trailer of Venkatesh’s upcoming Telugu film Narappa, which will be released on Amazon Prime on 20 July, was unveiled on Wednesday.
Going by the dramatic albeit familiar visuals, the film looks like a faithful, frame-by-frame remake of the Tamil revenge drama Asuran.
The trailer sees an intense Venkatesh in two avatars — as the father of two teenage boys in the present-day portion and a hot-headed youngster in flashback sequences.
Amazon Prime took to Twitter to unveil the trailer on Wednesday.

Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film has been predominantly shot in and around Anantapur. While Venkatesh plays the role essayed by Dhanush in the original, Priyamani slips into the shoes of Manju Warrier.
