Kamal Haasan is teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil for his upcoming film, Vikram.
The movie is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. His previous film Master (2021), which became a runaway hit even during the pandemic earlier this year, also featured Sethupathi in a pivotal role.
The first poster for the film was shared by Kamal Haasan on Twitter. He captioned it, “‘Only valour should wear the crown.’ I dare again to render before you the best of our talents. Like before, grant us victory!! Vikram.”

The poster has a part each of the faces of Kamal Haasan, Sethupathi and Faasil. The black-and-white image has all three men sporting beards and giving a serious, determined look. Of the three, Sethupathi is not looking into the camera. Maybe this has something to do with the nature of his character in the movie. Faasil is the antagonist in the film.
Kamal Haasan began shooting for the film on 7 April, a day after Tamil Nadu went to the polls. The second schedule of the shoot is expected to commence at the end of this month.
A powerful title teaser video of Vikram was released in last November by the actor-politician.
