Actor-director Sumit Sanghamitra announces his second film titled Lockdown Lagn

For the past few months, we have seen filmmakers highlight the effects of the nationwide lockdown that was imposed by the government to curb the spread of coronavirus on the daily lives of common citizens.

Actor, writer and director Sumit Sanghamitra has come up with another such film, Lockdown Lagn, which will go on the floors soon. When the lockdown was announced in March, many people had to call off or postpone their weddings. Even now, only a limited number of guests are allowed to attend nuptial celebrations.

This is Sanghamitra's second film after the critically acclaimed social comedy Zindagi Virat (2017). He has also co-written the script with Sagar Pathak. 

The makers announced the film after offering prayers at the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati temple in Pune. The film is being produced by Kiran Kumavat, Harshwardhan Gaikwad, Amol Kagne and Gauri Sagar Pathak. 

The makers are yet to announce the film's cast.
