Bhoot Police cast, crew off to Jaisalmer for last schedule

Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips and the rest of the team of Bhoot Police flew to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan yesterday to shoot the last schedule of the film. Directed by Pawan Kripalani, the film is a horror-comedy. 

Sharing the updated status of the film, an official statement from the makers said, “Bhoot Police finished almost 75% of the film post lockdown amidst the pandemic in the scenic locales of Dalhousie and Dharamshala. The team is expected to complete the last schedule of the film in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan this month.” 

Bhoot Police also stars Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jaaved Jaaferi. Khan and Jaaferi have impressed the audience with their comic tuning twice before in Salaam Namaste (2005) and Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007); both produced by Yash Raj Films. 

This film is Kripalani’s fourth directorial venture after Ragini MMS (2011), Darr @ The Mall (2014) and Phobia (2016). His last film Phobia, which starred Radhika Apte as the central character, received rave reviews. The film explored the psychological condition of agoraphobia. 

Earlier this week, the team of the Akshay Kumar-starrer Bachchan Pandey (2021) also left for Jaisalmer to kick-start the film’s shoot.
