Actor Rahul Roy on Thursday was discharged from Nanavati Hospital where had been admitted after suffering a mini-stroke during a shoot in Kargil.
In an Instagram post, the 52-year old actor wrote, "I am back home after a long treatment in the hospital. I am recovering and it’s still a long journey for a full recovery. Today I would like to thank everyone who stood by me all this while, Rohit my brother, my sister my best friend Priyanka, my brother in law Romeer along with my friends Aditi Gowitrikar (sic)"
The actor was shooting for the film, LAC (2021), in Kargil when he suffered a mini-stroke on 28 November 2020.
Roy is best known the most for playing the lead in Mahesh Bhatt’s hit musical Aashiqui (1990). He also appeared in films such as Junoon (1992), Sapne Sajan Ke (1992), and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee (1993). Around a decade ago, the actor made his Bhojpuri debut.
