The makers of the upcoming political drama Madam Chief Minister, starring Richa Chadha, have unveiled the teaser poster of the film. The intriguing poster also shows Chadha in a never-before-seen avatar. The actress is seen sporting a bob cut and defiantly holding a broomstick.

The poster also sees Saurabh Shukla and Manav Kaul in the background. From their attire, both appear to be playing politicians in the film. The self-explanatory title makes it clear that the film will show how a woman, who belongs to an untouchable caste, becomes the chief minister of a state.
The political drama film has been written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, who has helmed hit films such as Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010), Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017).
Produced by T-Series, Madam Chief Minister, which was originally scheduled to be released on 17 July 2020, will now hit the screens on 22 January 2021.
