Gullak Season 2 trailer: The Mishra family is back

The Mishras are back with their heartwarming adventures in the second season of Gullak. The trailer for this family drama shows that not much has changed for the family. The patriarch (Jameel Khan) who works in the electricity department is still riding around on his old scooter, while the younger son Aman (Harsh Mayar) is still struggling with his studies, the older son Annu (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) is still unemployed and the mother (Geetanjali Kulkarni), who is the glue of the nuclear family, still spends most of her time in the kitchen.

This middle-class family often bickers over trivial issues such as whether to go to a relative's wedding ceremony or not. The narration by Shivankit Singh Parihar lends this season the same slice-of-life feel as its predecessor. The first season which aired on SonyLiv and TVFPlay was well received by audiences and critics alike. It was especially lauded for its simplistic and unhurried style of storytelling.
