The poster does not reveal much, but like the teasers before, it captures the actor in a moment of reflection, with his physical injuries and smoke in the background underlining the severe nature of the attack.
The Ashoka Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry award for his sacrifice, was bestowed upon Sandeep posthumously for his valour and self-sacrifice.
Last December, on Sesh's birthday, the makers released a poster featuring the actor as the hero. The film will mark the Hindi debut of the actor. Incidentally, it also marks the Telugu debut of Manjrekar.
Major is being produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.
