National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has revealed the cast of his next film India Lockdown, which he announced towards the end of 2020.
Based on true events, the film will star Aahana Kumra, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Prakash Belawadi and Zarin Shihab.
Bhandarkar took to Twitter to announce the film's cast. He also unveiled the poster of the upcoming film and revealed that it would go on the floors next week.

The poster depicts a gigantic lock and people from various strata of society in silhouette. As the title suggests, the film will showcase how the lives of citizens were affected amid the nationwide lockdown in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The filmmaker who is known for his critically acclaimed films such as Chandni Bar (2001), Traffic Signal (2007), Fashion (2008) has been away from show business for quite some time since the release of his last film Indu Sarkar (2017).
India Lockdown will be produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures.
