Sayali Sanjeev-starrer Basta to be released on 29 January on ZeePlex 

The Sayali Sanjeev-starrer Basta is all set to be released on 29 January on the digital platform ZeePlex. The Marathi film can be viewed on a pay-per-view basis for Rs99. 

Directed by Tanaji Ghadge, the movie also stars Akshay Tanksale, Parth Bhalerao, Suraj Pawar, Arbaj Sheikh and Pallavi Patil. 

Speaking about the film, Ghadge said in a statement, “Basta is the emotional journey of a man who just wants to see his daughter happily married. It has joyful moments and scenes that will make everyone cry their hearts out. The emotional range of every character is amazing. I am very happy that it has got a platform like ZeePlex. This is the best way to reach the audience.” 

Shariq Patel, the chief operating officer of ZeePlex, said Basta is a relatable and moving tale. "I am very happy to bring the film to the audience through ZeePlex. I have always believed in and worked on bringing content that deserves to reach cinema-loving audiences,” he said.

The makers had shared a romantic number from the film titled ‘Ful Zultya Yelicha’ in February 2020.
