Selvaraghavan's next film featuring Dhanush to be titled Naane Varuven

Dhanush has released two key posters for his next film with Selvaraghavan, which is titled Naane Varuven. The director had put out an image to announce the collaboration back in January 2021. 

Both posters feature Dhanush prominently in the foreground. The first poster sees the actor smoking a cigar in front of a farmhouse in flames. 

The second poster depicts the actor's face, which is split into two kaleidoscopic halves, surrounded by an arsenal of weapons. The same farmhouse is reflected in the actor's glasses. 

The film will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, another frequent Selvaraghavan collaborator. Dhanush began the year by announcing the collaboration with Selvaraghavan on the sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan (2020). The film, described as a magnum opus, is expected to be ready by 2024. 

The actor has been busy having completed shooting for the Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar-starrer Atrangi Re. He has also signed on for Joe Russo's upcoming ensemble film, The Gray Man, featuring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. 

Dhanush also has Jagame Thandhiram, which is set to be released in theatres on 12 February, in the pipeline.
