Working in Tribhanga was like attending a masterclass, says Vaibhav Tatwawaadi

Directed by Renuka Shahane, the film mainly stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.

Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, who is well-known in the world Marathi cinema, has been recently making inroads into Hindi films as well. His next film is Renuka Shahane’s Hindi directorial debut, Tribhanga, which stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.

Tatwawaadi believes that working in the film was like receiving trained in acting. “Working in the movie was like attending a master class. Having an opportunity to work with legends like Kajol ma’am and Tanvi ma’am was like a dream come true. They were very professional and very helpful. As an artist, watching them perform was like attending an acting masterclass, which no training could have taught me,” said the actor.

Tatwawaadi was also impressed with Shahane’s directorial skills. This is her second film as a director after the Marathi movie Rita (2009). “The icing on the cake was being directed by Renuka Shahane ma’am whose talents I adore. She knew exactly what she wanted from her actors and was very supportive and explained every scene. She also gave us the freedom to express ourselves in front of the camera. The whole shooting experience is something which I will always cherish,” he said.

Tatwawaadi has Makarand Mane’s next film and Sachin Kundalkar’s Pondicherry in the pipeline.
