Manoj Bajpayee began shooting for his next project, the feature film Despatch, on Saturday. Directed by Kanu Behl, the film is an investigative thriller set in the world of crime journalism.
Bajpayee shared the first look of his character, who gets involved in the dark underbelly of business and crime. The 51-year-old actor is seen wearing glasses and seems to have a few bruises and a taped-up nose. He was excited to be back on set again.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies, Despatch is due to be premiered digitally but the streaming platform has not been finalized yet. Besides Bajpayee, the film also co-stars actress Shahana Goswami.
The second season of Bajpayee’s Amazon Prime web-series The Family Man was due to be released next week but the makers, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, recently announced that the date had been pushed back.
