Ambernath Marathi Film Festival announces nominations for its sixth edition

The organizers of the Ambernath Marathi Film Festival have announced the list of nominees for the sixth edition of the event's awards. Of the 47 films that applied, 28 have received nominations in various categories.
Pravas, Preetam and Kali Matee have bagged the most nominations. Among the already announced awards, Kali Matee has bagged the award for Best Film while Shree Ram Samarth (2019) bagged the Critics' Choice Best Film Award.
In the acting category, Shantanu Moghe won the best actor award for his role in Shree Ram Samarth and Nikhil Ratnaparkhi won the best actor in a comic role for his performance in Email Female (2021). Pari Jadhav also bagged the Best Actress Critics Award for Avartan.
The festival, which is organized by Ambar Bharari and Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal, will also honour senior actress Jyoti Chandekar with the Lifetime Achievement Award while veteran actor Shrikant Moghe will receive the Special Honours Award for his contribution to cinema.
Festival director Mahendra Patil and Nikhil Chaudhari, the organizer of the event, said the Ambernath Marathi Film Festival would be a grand event and many well-known celebrities from Marathi and Hindi film industry would attend the event.
