Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer Chehre to be released on 30 April

The mystery thriller has been directed by Rumy Jafry and produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited.

With the Union government allowing theatres to operate at 100% capacity, It seems that the Hindi film industry is on a spree to announce the release dates of long-awaited films. 

After a year-long wait, the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan film Chehre has a release date now. The mystery thriller is set to be released in cinemas on 30 April 2021. 

Bachchan took to his Twitter account to announce the release date of the project along with an intriguing poster featuring the cast of the film.

Sharing the poster, Bachchan wrote, "Chehre se bada koi naqaab nahi hota! Uncover the real Chehre, the much-awaited mystery-thriller, in theatres on 30 April 2021."

The poster features an intense Bachchan and Hashmi at the forefront, attempting to solve a mystery. Around them are Krystle D'Souza, Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghuvir Yadav. Not surprisingly, Rhea Chakraborty, who is also part of the film is missing from the poster. This is the first time Bachchan and Hashmi will be sharing screen space.
