Filming for Shekhar Kapur’s What’s Love Got To Do With It wraps in London

Filming for Shekhar Kapur’s latest feature film, What’s Love Got To Do With It, has wrapped up in London, England. The international project stars Oscar winner Emma Thompson, Shabana Azmi, Lily James, Rob Brydon, Shazad Latif and Sajal Ali.

Cast member Mim Shaikh put a photograph of the cast and Kapur captioned, “That’s a wrap on What’s Love Got To Do With It - can’t wait for you to watch this beautiful and intercross cultural movie we have shot over the past few weeks! Thank you to everyone (sic).”

Azmi recently revealed that Thompson had wrapped her part last week. According to a few news reports, Thompson plays mother to actress Lily James in the cross-cultural comedy.

The upcoming feature film has been produced by Jemima Khan, who has also written the script. Khan has been sharing a few behind-the-scenes photos of the cast and crew in action on Twitter.

What’s Love Got To Do With It is being produced by Working Title, StudioCanal and Khan's Instinct Productions. No release date has been announced for the film as yet.
