Anubhav Sinha film starring Ayushmann Khurrana titled Anek

The next collaboration between director Anubhav Sinha and actor Ayushmann Khurrana now has a title: Anek. This is their next film together after the highly acclaimed Article 15 (2019).

Khurrana took to Twitter to share the news about the title and the name of his character. “Excited to be collaborating with Anubhav Sinha sir. Again. Anek. Here’s presenting my look as Joshua produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar (sic).” 

Meanwhile, Sinha tweeted, “Ek [one] look of supremely talented Ayushmann Khurrana as Joshua from our next collaboration, Anek (sic).” 

While Article 15 was a scathing critique of the caste system in India, Anek is an action thriller.

The actor and director also released the first two working stills from the film. The pictures indicate that the unit has been shooting in the woods.

The film was announced in mid-March 2020, at the time when COVID-19 was rearing its ugly head in India. 

Apart from Anek, Khurrana has Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021) and Doctor G (2021) in the pipeline.
