Actress-producer Dia Mirza wed private equity professional Vaibhav Rekhi on 15 February in a private ceremony at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by the couple’s closest friends and family members.
Mirza announced her marriage online, tweeting, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you all. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us.”

The Vedic ceremony took place at Mirza’s Bandra home and was solemnised by a female priest, with strict COVID-19 protocols in place. It was attended only by the couple’s closest friends and family members, including actress Aditi Rao Hydari, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and director Kunal Deshmukh.
After the simple ceremony, the actress’ publicist shared that toasts and speeches that celebrated the love story of the couple.
The actress went traditional with a red Banarasi sari paired with gold and white gajra in her hair. The groom donned a white kurta-pyjama and a beige turban for the ceremony. After the wedding, the couple posed for the paparazzi and distributed sweets among the waiting media outside the venue.
This is the second marriage for both; Mirza was married for 11 years to producer Sahil Sangha. They separated mutually in 2019. According to online reports, Rekhi was previously married to a yoga and lifestyle coach Sunaina and has a daughter who was walked alongside Mirza as she headed to the mandap.
