Ravi Jadhav's next Marathi feature film starring Prathamesh Parab and Hruta Durgule went on the floor today.

The director shared a post on Instagram announcing the commencement of the shoot.

On Valentine's Day, Jadhav had shared a poster of the film which featured a colourful heart with the number 3 on it.

The poster suggested that the film is the third in the Timepass (2014) series. While there is no confirmation from the makers, Jadhav used the hashtag “#आईबाबाआणिसाईबाबाशप्पथ” (Aai-baba aani Sai Baba shappath, meaning swear on my parents and Sai Baba), a catchphrase from the Timepass films.

The upcoming project has been under discussion on social media for a while now because while promoting the film members of the cast kept showing three fingers in each post they shared, leading many netizens to believe that this film might be the third in the Timepass series.

Parab played the lead role of Dagadu in Timepass (2014), which was a big hit at the box office, becoming the first Marathi film to break the Rs30 crore barrier. Timepass 2 (2015) starring Priyadarshan Jadhav and Priya Bapat was also a big hit. It will be interesting to see if the third part takes the plot from the previous two films forward or introduces an entirely new one.

Parab was seen recently in Oh My Ghost (2021), which was released last week, while Durgule's debut film Ananya (2021) is set for release.
