Gashmeer Mahajani, Pooja Sawant to reunite for Luv U Mitra

The film will be helmed by first-time director Mansi Bagla under the Mini Films banner.

Gashmeer Mahajani and Pooja Sawant have finally shed light on their cryptic conversation on Facebook on Saturday. The duo is set to reunite for the upcoming Marathi film Luv U Mitra.

Mahajani announced the project on Facebook, sharing the first motion poster of the film.

This is their second film together after Bonus (2020). Luv U Mitra has been directed by first-time director Mansi Bagla. The Marathi film is a remake of the Telugu feature Ninnu Kori (2017) starring Nani and Nivetha Thomas.

Speaking about the project, Sawant said in a statement, "I give all my best wishes to Mansi for her directorial debut. I am looking forward to starting this project soon."

Mahajani also added, "I loved the script. It looks promising. Hope we are able to define the true essence of love through this film. My best wishes to Mini Films and the entire team."

Speaking about the film, Bagla said, "It's the first time that such a topic is being presented in the Marathi industry. You can watch this film with your friends and family."

Luv U Mitra will also reportedly have an important character, the identity of whom has still been kept under the wraps. The film has been produced by Varun and Mansi Bagla under their banner Mini Films.
