Sidharth Malhotra has shared the first glimpse of his character from Indra Kumar's Thank God. The khaki-clad actor can be seen sitting in a police jeep with his subordinate. Malhotra shared the picture on Instagram with a cheeky caption "Just on my way to say hi to Mr Rohit Shetty P.s - Sneak peek from Thank God (sic).”

Shetty, who is known for his cop universe films — such as Singham (2011), Singham Returns (2014) and Simmba (2018), commented on Sidharth’s post. He wrote, “Aaja naam main waise bhi ‘S’ hai pehle se.”

Thank God also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. While this is the first time that the actors will be sharing screen space,  Malhotra has worked with Singh in Aiyaary (2018) and Marjaavaan (2019).

The 36-year-old will be seen playing a cop for the first time in his acting career. He had played a rogue army officer in Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary.

A T-Series Films & Maruti International production, Thank God, went on floors ten days ago on 21 January in Mumbai.
