Srabanti Chatterjee, Om Sahani to pair up for Ayan Dey's debut venture Bhoy Peo Na

The horror thriller will feature Sahani and Chatterjee as a married couple.

Actress Srabanti Chatterjee and actor Om Sahani will pair up for Ayan Dey’s debut directorial venture Bhoy Peo Na.

The horror thriller will feature Sahani as Dr Sushant and Chatterjee as his wife Tamosha. Dey will begin shooting the film next month.

In the film, after marriage, Tamosha has a troubled relationship with her mother-in-law Banhishikha, who hatches a plan to drive her out of the house. However, the conspiracy soon exposes a mystery which drivers the thriller ahead.

“This is a simple character yet there is an excellent twist to it in the end,” Chatterjee told Anandabazar Patrika, a Bengali daily. “I was quite amused to hear the story for the first time. Om and his wife Mimi are good friends of mine. I am excited to be paired with him for the first time. He is a promising actor.”

Sahani and Chatterjee both featured in Hullor (2020), but he is excited to be cast opposite the popular actress for the first time. “Currently, I am working with Mimi [Chakraborty] for a horror film and then we will start shooting for Bhoy Peo Na,” he said.

Dabbu will compose the music for the film. Antara Mitra, Anupam Roy and Raj Burman will lend their voices for the songs in the film.
