After Mulk (2018), Dhaakad (2022) and Forensic (2022), producer Deepak Mukut is now bankrolling a film titled Bal Naren.
Directed by Pawan KK Nagpal, the film is inspired from the central government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission).
Bal Naren stars Rajniesh Duggal, Bidita Bag, Govind Namdev and Vindu Dara Singh. The film will go on the floors this month in a start-to-finish schedule in Uttar Pradesh.
A statement from the makers said, 'The film revolves around a boy Naren, who loses his father to dengue and how he gets motivated by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to get the whole village together to make positive changes through a cleanliness drive. The film also touches upon the impact the coronavirus had on our country, in phase one and two.”
On his reasons for backing this project, producer Mukut said, “Be it Mulk, Dhaakad or Forensic, the story was the first thing that got me excited. Bal Naren’s story is inspiring and an eye-opener. Imagine face-lifting society just by keeping the surroundings clean. The film is especially relevant in these difficult times when we are going through a pandemic.”
