Matter of pride, says Sai Tamhankar on featuring in IMDb's breakout stars list

Actress Sai Tamhankar, who starred in the Hindi film Mimi (2021) and the Marathi web-series Samantar (Season 2) has featured in the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) list of top 10 breakout stars of Indian films and web-series for 2021.

Speaking about the honour, Tamhankar said, "IMDB is a global platform. Global cinema and web-series have a broader approach to looking at art without the need for language. It is a matter of pride for me to be honoured by such a reputable platform."

 Adarsh Gourav, who starred in the Netflix film The White Tiger (2021) and the second season of the Amazon Prime Video web-series Hostel Daze (2021) topped the list.

Other artistes in the list are Ashlesha Thakur, Malavika Mohanan, Manoj Bajpayee, Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami, Sunny Hinduja, Vikrant Massey and Ahsaas Channa.

Tamhankar, who was last seen in Laxman Utekar's Mimi, is awaiting the release of her Marathi films Medium Spicy and Colorphool.
