Shava Ni Girdhari Lal title track: Gippy Grewal’s character comes to life with this catchy number

The Punjabi film Shava Ni Girdhari Lal (2021) stars actor-singer-filmmaker Gippy Grewal who plays an innocent lover named Girdhari Lal. The title song from the film describes the innocence and characteristics of the protagonist who is trying to find the best match for himself.

In the folk voice of Satinder Sartaaj with music by Jatinder Shah, the title track describes Girdhari Lal, highlighting his innocence. The catchy music has hints of Mediterranean sounds woven within a rustic Punjabi tune.

We see Grewal with a goofy grin on his face throughout as he goes around the village. Colourful scenes from everyday village life are depicted in their vibrancy. Grewal wears colourful clothes and we even see him dancing to the song.

In a bid to find a suitable girl in the film, Girdhari Lal courts different women and there are a number of actresses who will be seen in the movie, including Neeru Bajwa, Himanshi Khurana, Sara Gurpal and Yami Gautam. Directed by Grewal himself, the romantic comedy also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol and Rana Ranbir.

Shava Ni Girdhari Lal is set to be released in theatres on 17 December.
