Amazon Prime Video on Thursday unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Tamil anthology film Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa, which comprises shorts directed by Balaji Mohan, Madhumita, Halitha Shameem, Richard Antony and Surya Krishna.
The follow-up to the anthology film Putham Pudhu Kaalai (2020), which was made during the lockdown, Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa is about hope, determination and personal discovery, as told through the unique perspectives of five different directors.
The teaser of the film, which will be premiered on 14 January 2022., promises to enthral audiences with a heart-warming narrative that celebrates the spirit of resilience and grit in the face of adversity.
The segments that make up the film are Balaji Mohan’s Mugakavasa Mutham, featuring Teejay Arunasalam and Gouri Kishan; Halitha Shameem’s Loners, featuring Lijomol Jose and Arjun Das; Madhumita’s Mouname Paarvayaai, featuring Nadiya Moidu and Joju George; Richard Antony’s Nizhal Tharum Idham, featuring Aishwarya Lekshmi and Nirmal Pillai; and Surya Krishna’s Mask starring Sananth and Dhillip Subbarayan.
