Cubicles (Season 2) trailer: Idealistic employee learns a hard lesson about work and life

The second season of The Viral Fever’s Cubicles depicts the return of recent graduate Piyush Prajapati (Abhishek Chauhan), who is content with his first job at a large IT company. For him, the cubicle signifies something big in life.

But as he grows and experiences more of the corporate world, he realizes the hard reality of work and real world expectations. Piyush learns from his seniors who have been at this grind a lot longer and becomes aware that he is more attached to his job and company, then they are to him.

He also feels insecure with new joinee Sunaina Chauhan who has more work experience and takes over a project he was leading. This time around, he has tensions with his flatmate with whom he also works, making it hard for him to maintain his work-life balance.

Like it did with its landmark series on startups and students, The Viral Fever examines the office culture that is a big part of the lives of most modern Indians. It might feel a bit odd and nostalgic to some who have shifted to working from home in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and those whose work experiences are very different.

Also starring Nidhi Bisht and Arnav Bhasin, Cubicles (Season 2) will be streamed on SonyLIV in 2022.
