Irrfan Khan's shelved film Murder at Teesri Manzil 302, which was directed by Navneet Baz Saini, will be streamed on Zee5 on 31 December along with the National award-winning Sanjay Mishra-starrer Turtle (2018) and the Naveen Kasturia-led Waah Zindagi.

Murder at Teesri Manzil 302 was shot back in 2006-07 and also starred Ranvir Shorey and Deepal Shaw. Irrfan, his son Babil and the crew had a near-fatal experience when the engine of their speed boat died off the coast of Pattaya where the project was being filmed. A rescue team later came to their aid.

The first film to be released after Khan's demise, on 29 April 2019, was Angrezi Medium (2020). Since then, some of his unreleased projects have found their way to film festivals. One of them, Dubai Return, was premiered at the Bandra Film Festival earlier this year.

Starring Sanjay Mishra, Turtle won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Rajasthani in 2019. Directed by Dinesh Yadav, it is based on the story of the writer Vijaydan Jetha and talks about climate change and its effect on people.

Incidentally, Waah Zindagi has also been directed by Yadav and features Mishra as well as Vijay Raaz, Plabita Borthakur and Naveen Kasturia. The film was announced back in 2019.
