Naaradhan trailer: Tovino Thomas plays a ratings-hungry newshound in this drama

Tovino Thomas plays a controversial, pot-stirring news anchor named Chandraprakash in Naaradhan. Going by the trailer of the film, the persona, speech, and body language of the character seem to be inspired by real-life personalities who dominate television news today. Yet, Chandraprakash did not start out this way; he is an optimist who has grown cynical.  

Naaradhan tracks Chandraprakash's journey from being a crusader for justice to turning into a ratings-chaser. Once he becomes the villain himself, a new breed of journalists, led by Anna Ben, emerge to take him down. This makes for some intensely dramatic moments. 

Edited with panache, the trailer of Naaradhan is packed with sharp dialogues and a rousing background score that catches your attention. Tovino is growing into an actor who is comfortable with taking risks and pushing the envelope. He will be matched by another promising actor, Anna Ben. 

Directed by Aashiq Abu, Naaradhan features Indrans, Renji Panicker and Sharaf U Dheen.  The film will release on 27 January 2022 in theatres
