Salute trailer: Dulquer Salmaan is in pursuit of a mysterious killer

Dulquer Salmaan is a police inspector is in pursuit of a mysterious killer in Rosshan Andrrews's investigative drama Salute. A short teaser, which dropped in April, hinted that Dulquer plays a typical no-nonsense cop, but the trailer shows us a completely different side of his character and also gives us some context to understand the overall plot. 

From the trailer, it seems that Dulquer's character is on the hunt for someone. but the thing that piques your interest is that other cops are tailing him. The trailer gives you a hint about the film's plot without revealing too much. We also see him in two different looks: with and without a beard, probably indicating that the film is set in two different timelines. Diana Penty also makes a brief appearance.

The melancholic trailer does a good job of giving you an idea about the plot. Dulquer also looks perfect in this serious role. 

We can safely assume that Salute, which boasts an impressive cast and a script by the extremely talented writer duo Bobby-Sanjay, is a film to watch out for. 

Produced by Dulquer under his banner Wayfarer Films, Salute is set to be released in theatres on 14 January 2022.
