Allu Arjun’s latest release Pushpa: The Rise (2021), which has been released in five languages, has set the box office on fire.

In just five days since its release, the film has broken into the Rs200 crore club, according to trade analysts.

Originally shot in Telugu, Pushpa has been dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It’s Arjun's first film to have a simultaneous release in five languages.

Directed by Sukumar, the film features Arjun as a lorry driver who smuggles red sandalwood. Pushpa, despite opening to a mixed response from audiences and critics alike, has minted big money at the ticket window.

Trade analyst Trinath revealed that the film has grossed over Rs200 crore in just five days worldwide. “Pushpa has stunned the trade with the kind of response it has received," he said. "The film has crossed Rs200 crore at the ticket window in just five days and is doing well in every language it has been released in.”

The film’s Hindi and Tamil versions are said to have broken even already.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Hindi version of Pushpa registered better numbers on the fifth day vis-à-vis the first and second days.

Film industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted that the Hindi version had broken even in just five days.

Meanwhile, the makers confirmed that the second part will be released in cinemas in December next year. Titled Pushpa: The Rule, it will focus on the face-off between Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, who was introduced as the prime antagonist towards the end of The Rise.
