The poster of Hoichoi's upcoming thriller series Gora, starring Ritwick Chakraborty, features the actor as the titular detective looking curious and somewhat confused.
The first look of the series, which was revealed on Thursday, sees that character amidst a pile of books on subjects ranging from criminal psychology to advanced physics. However, the oddest object featured in the poster is a harmonium, which the sleuth appears to be playing. The visual suggests that Gora uses an unconventional method to zero in on a serial killer.

The eccentric detective only takes up cases involving serial killers. The tagline of the poster, “The Private Defective” hints at his peculiar traits with a touch of humour.
Chakraborty was previously seen in the avatar of a journalist-turned-detective in Pratim D Gupta’s Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo (2019).
Gora will be streamed on Hoichoi in January next year.
