Sachin Khedekar to play dean of major hospital in Radhe Shyam

Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar, who has appeared in a few Telugu movies over the past five years, is set to play an important role in Prabhas's upcoming pan-Indian Telugu period romantic drama Radhe Shyam (2022).
The veteran actor told Cinestaan, "I'm playing the dean of a very big and popular hospital."
Khedekar also revealed the subject of the much-awaited film. "It is about a debate between science and astrology and I stand with science in this," he said.
He further revealed that the film, which has been directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, is a love story set in Europe in the 1970s.
Interestingly, Khedekar also portrays the idealistic dean of a hospital who decides he will officially investigate his own college admissions in the recently released SonyLiv web- series The Whistleblower, which also stars Ritwik Bhowmik, Sonali Kulkarni and Ravi Kishan.
Radhe Shyam went on the floors in January 2020. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the team successfully wrapped up its shooting schedule in Georgia in March and returned to India safely. The film has been predominantly shot in Europe, and a special set had been erected in Annapurna Studio, Hyderabad where the film’s final schedule was completed in July 2021.
Also starring Pooja Hegde, the film is set to be released on 14 January 2022.
