Nushrratt Bharuccha completes shooting for social comedy Janhit Mein Jaari

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has completed shooting for her upcoming film Janhit Mein Jaari (2022). Produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film, a social comedy, is the directorial debut of television director Jai Basantu Singh.

The film was announced in November 2020 and went on the floors in September this year. It was earlier supposed to be directed by Omung Kumar B, but he was replaced by Jai Basantu Singh.

'Also starring Anud Singh, Tinnu Anand, Vijay Raaz and Paritosh Tripathi, the crew just wrapped shooting the film and song sequences of the film in the beautiful city of Chanderi [in Madhya Pradesh] today,' a statement from the producers said.

Janhit Mein Jaari is Bhanushali’s first film under his own banner, Bhanushali Pictures. He recently quit T-Series after having worked there for 27 years.

Janhit Mein Jaari is written by Shaandilyaa who made his own feature directorial debut with Dream Girl (2019), in which Bharuccha was cast with Ayushmann Khurrana.

His previous release as a writer was Jabariya Jodi (2019), which saw Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

Shaandilyaa is also the producer and writer for Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film Godse (2022), on the life of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse.
