Zombivli song 'Angaat Aalaya': Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar, Vaidehi Parshurami match steps with the undead

The energetic number has been composed by duo Rohan Gokhale and Rohan Pradhan and features lyrics by Prashant Madpuwar.

'Angaat Aalaya', the first song from Marathi cinema's first zombie movie Zombivli, is a foot-tapping traditional Gondhal that is full of zing.

The promotional track, which is composed by Rohan Gokhale and Rohan Pradhan, depicts the three main leads, Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar and Vaidehi Parshurami, trying to match steps with background dancers dressed as zombies. Siddarth Jadhav, who is known for his dancing abilities, makes a special appearance as a ghoul in the song.

The number, which features vocals by one half of the composer duo, Pradhan, gets off to an electrifying start with the uproarious sound of folk percussion instruments like the sambal and a robust chorus.

Pradhan's highly energetic vocals also ensure that the unhinged energy has a rhythm. The folksy lyrics by Prashant Madpuwar are in perfect sync with the traditional, fast beats of the song

The film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, will hit the theatres on 4 February 2022.
