Manisha Koirala, Girish Kasaravalli, Arjan Bajwa, Anupam Tripathi to be part of Diorama International Film Festival jury

The third edition of the Diorama International Film Festival will be held from 18 to 24 December in a hybrid format. The organizers will screen more than 130 films from 84 countries, and the screenings will be held on the ground at New Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium on 18 and 19 December, along with films being screened virtually. The festival has also launched its own OTT platform, Diorama Live, to screen the festival films.
The Indian film jury of the festival is headed by Girish Kasaravalli. Actress Manish Koirala, film critic Sachin Chatte, cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and film editor Suresh Pai will also be part of the jury. The international feature film jury is headed by Sri Lankan great Prasanna Vithanage and includes cinematographer and film director from South Africa Bruce McDonald, producer-director from Turkey Stare Yildirim, film programmer for Locarno Film Festival Young-Woo Kim, and Sarim Fassi Fihri, the producer and former chief of Centre Cinématographique Marocain, Morocco.
The international short film jury at Diorama is headed by the Ukrainian film producer Larysa Gutarevych and has actor Arjan Bajwa from India and the former chief curator of Berlinale Shorts Maike Mia Höhne. The juries will decide the festival’s Golden and Silver Sparrow Awards across 23 categories.
In addition to the screenings, the festival will present the Diorama Film Bazaar, which will be held from 21 to 22 December and will develop around 15 film projects this year helping filmmakers pitch their film projects directly to the producers and film funds.
Webinars will also be held by Berlinale’s Crystal Bear-winning film director Rafael Kapelinski; director, programming, Hot Docs, Canada, Shane Thomas; Anupam Tripathi, the Indian actor from Squid Game; Madhur Bhandarkar; Amole Gupte; Laurent Crouzeix, co-executive director of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival & Market; the sound designer of the famed series Money Heist, Mikel Z Castells, and many others.
