Watch Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi reminisce about the trolling, fat shaming in first glimpse of Double XL

Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi, who have often been fat-shamed and trolled for their weight, reminisce about all this trolling in the first glimpse of their upcoming social comedy Double XL (2022).

The short clip begins with both actresses discussing their journey in the film industry and how they were at the receiving end of many a fat-shaming joke and barb.

Towards the end of the clip, they also introduce their characters. Qureshi is playing simpleton Rajshri Trivedi from Uttar Pradesh's heartland Meerut while Sinha is playing the glamorous and modern Saira Khanna from Delhi.

The social comedy, which also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra, is written by Mudassar Aziz and directed by Satramm Ramani. The film has been produced by T-Series, Wakaoo Films and Elemen3 Entertainment.

Elemen3 is a company formed by Huma Qureshi, her brother Saqib Saleem and Mudassar Aziz. This is their first home production. Double XL is set to be released in the summer of 2022.
