Filmmaker Om Raut, known for hit films such as Lokmanya: Ek Yugpurush (2015, Marathi) and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020, Hindi), has launched the poster of a Marathi movie titled Hirvee. The film stars Kailash Leela Waghmare, who played the role of Chultya in Tanhanji. Raut and Waghmare go back a long way.
According to a statement from the makers, Hirvee is a heart-warming story that outlines the relationship between humans and nature. "Hirvee represents a saga perseverance to cherish the greenery in minds, in society and in nature (sic),” the statement read.

Wishing the cast and crew of Hirvee all the best, Raut said, “I hope people encourage regional cinema and watch the film as well. It has a lovely message that depicts the unique connection between humans and nature.”
The poster of Hirvee sees Waghmare riding his scooter in a village. The film is themed on the conservation of trees and forests.
Directed by Agnel Roman, Hirvee will be released on an over-the-top platform this year.
