Anirban Bhattacharya to make Hindi debut with Rani Mukerji-starrer Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway


Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film is billed as an untold story about a mother’s battle against an entire country.

Actor Anirban Bhattacharya is on his way to Scandinavia to shoot for the Rani Mukerji-starrer Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, which marks his Hindi debut. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film entirely revolves around a mother who fights against an entire country for her daughter.

Bhattacharya is the latest Bengali artiste to dip his toe into the waters of Hindi cinema after Jisshu Sengupta, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Parambrata Chatterjee.

Mukerji is awaitng the release of Bunty Aur Babli 2, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Bhattacharya’s upcoming film Mukhosh, directed by Birsa Dasgupta is slated for a theatrical release on 19 August. His upcoming web-series, Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni, directed by Srijit Mukherji, will be streamed from 13 August on Hoichoi.
