Last year in July, Vivek Anand Oberoi had announced that Rosie: The Saffron Chapter was going to be his next film as producer and actor. However, he has now walked out of the film and is no longer associated with it in either role. Oberoi's name has been omitted from the teasers for the film as well as from the official credits.
The teasers were shared by the official YouTube channel of Tips Music and the company's head, Ramesh Taurani, confirmed that Oberoi was no longer part of Rosie. He also clarified that Tips is only the film's music partner.
Rosie is produced by Prernaa V Arora, Manigandan Manjunathan, Prem Rani Manjunathan, Girish Johar and Kussum V Arora. Tanishaa Mukerji is part of the film's cast, along with Shivin Narang and Palak Tiwari, who plays Rosie.
The first teaser saw Narang in a church where the lights go off one after the other, leaving him scared. The second featured Arbaaz Khan as a police inspector at a deserted home, probably a crime scene, where he spots something that shocks the daylights out of him. The teaser reminds you of Khan’s role as a cop in the acclaimed thriller The Stoneman Murders (2009).
The background score used in both teasers is impressive and haunting.
