The actor was arrested after banned substances were allegedly recovered from his house on Sunday.

Actor Armaan Kohli was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai late on Sunday evening after illegal drugs were found in his residence in a raid.
The investigators have allegedly uncovered international links to the drug trade since the seized products are said to be of foreign origin. The raid came in the wake of the arrest of a drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh, in Mumbai on Saturday.

The actor was reportedly found to be in the possession of cocaine and could not explain its presence in his home.
The actor has been arrested under sections 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30 and 35 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act while Singh has been arrested under 22b(a), 27A, 28, 29, 30, & 35 of the Act. The actor has been remanded in one-day NCB custody by a special court in Mumbai.
The actor's residence was also raided in 2018 by the excise department, leading to the seizure of alcohol worth Rs1.9 lakh.
Kohli is known for his performances in films such as Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002), LOC: Kargil (2003) and, more recently, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).
