Anupam Kher finishes shooting for his 519th movie Shiv Shastri Balboa

Anupam Kher has finished his portion of the upcoming movie Shiv Shastri Balboa, which is the 519th project he has appeared in. The veteran actor made the announcement via a video on Twitter. He had started shooting for the film in the United States 40 days ago. 

Kher captioned the clip, “Finally it is a wrap for my 519th film Shiv Shastri Balboa!! Thank you to my producers, technicians and co-actors for the amazing love, warmth and support. I have a very good feeling about the work we have put in in the last 40 days. Hope to meet you all again soon.” 

Directed by Ajayan Venugopalan, the film tells the story of an Indian in a small town in America. The filmmaker is known for helming the acclaimed Hindi web-series Metro Park. 

Shiv Shastri Balboa will see Kher paired opposite Neena Gupta for the first time. When the film had gone on floors, Kher had shared his poster with the veteran actress and wrote, “Presenting the first look of my new film Shiv Shastri Balboa. A fascinating tale of survival of an Indian in a small town in America! Delighted to be working with the gorgeous and brilliant Neena Gupta and a very talented international cast and crew! More details to follow!”
