Actress Nusrat Jahan, who is also a Trinamool Congress MP, has been blessed with a baby boy.
As per a report in The Times of India, an English daily, the artiste was admitted to a private hospital at Park Street, Kolkata, yesterday and underwent a caesarean section.
According to the report, her rumoured partner, Yash Dasgupta, was by her side throughout and he confirmed that both the mother and baby were well after the delivery.
Dasgupta reportedly escorted Jahan to the hospital after attending the mahurat of his upcoming film Cheene Badam.
Ahead of her delivery, Jahan took to Instagram ]and posted a photo with the caption, "Faith Over Fear".
In May, the actress stated that her marriage to Nikhil Jain was not recognised in the eyes of the law, as the couple had tied the knot in Turkey in 2019. Making multiple accusations against Jain, she also said that they had been in a live-in relationship since then.
