Parna Pethe, Siddharth Chandekar's web-series Adhantari to be released simultaneously on Hungama Play, MX player

Parna Pethe and Siddharth Chandekar's Marathi romantic comedy web-series Adhantari has been released simultaneously on Hungama Play and MX Player. The series has also been dubbed in Hindi. 

In the series, Chandekar and Pethe play a young couple, Mukul and Mughda, who live in two different cities. They decide to spend a weekend together in Lonavala. But their short romantic getaway turns into an extended 21-day stay when the government announces a nationwide lockdown. After a few days, the couple begins to question their compatibility.

Interestingly, ' Will You Be My Quarantine' a short film from Netflix India's anthology Home Stories (2020) had a similar plot. The short film starred Imaad Shah and Saba Azad.

Adhantari features Virajas Kulkarni, Aashay Kulkarni and Aroh Welankar in small but important roles.  The series has been directed by Jeet Ashok and produced by Ganraj Associations.
