Yami Gautam Dhar completed shooting for Lost (2022) in Kolkata today. The investigative drama, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, also stars Pankaj Kapur and Rahul Khanna.
The actress began shooting for Lost a month ago and put up a long emotional note about her experiences. Her portions were completed in what looks like the interiors of the news channel with a greenscreen background.
Calling it a special film, she wrote, “Shooting for Lost has been an unforgettable experience and I'm truly thankful to each and everyone who helped and contributed in different ways, going above and beyond their tasks and duties and making it one of my most treasured experiences. It has been a life-enriching experience shooting for Lost, all thanks to the supportive cast and crew who went beyond their tasks and duties to make everything seamless for all those involved.”
Dhar also singled out her director, calling him an incredible filmmaker and an amazing human being. She also thanked his wife Indrani for her hospitality and Bengali food to make her feel at home.
She added, “A film like Lost can only be directed by someone who has the purest intentions! We faced many challenges with the weather, the chaos of shooting at live locations, the battles of shooting at congested places in Covid times... but we stuck together as a team and it was all worth it in the end.”
In Lost, Dhar plays a crime reporter trying to uncover the truth. The film features Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey.
The actress had earlier completed shooting for RSVP Movies’ A Thursday. She will next be seen in Disney+ Hotstar's Bhoot Police (2021) alongside Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. The horror-comedy is due to be released on 17 September.
