Parees trailer: Greed and superstition lead three men on the path of crime

The trailer for Planet Marathi OTT's upcoming web-series Parees is out, and going by the trailer, it seems the series focuses on how greed and superstition lead three men down the path of crime.

At the beginning of the trailer we see Gayatri Bansode advising Avinash Khedekar, Chandrakant Raut and Kuldip Dagade's characters to find the eggs of the yellow-wattled lapwing bird. The eggs play an important part in the ritual that they need to perform to find a gem. When they finally find the eggs, they end up killing one of their accomplices as a human sacrifice to their goddess.

The well-edited trailer not only gives the viewer a fair idea about the plot of the web-series but also immediately sucks you into the world of these three men. The colour palette and lighting complement the dark theme of the series.

Written and directed by Mayur Karambalikar, Kuldip Dagade and Vishal Sangale, the web-series will be premiered on the Planet Marathi OTT platform on 31 August. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to watch this series.
