I'm writing script for Maalik director Mahesh Narayanan, says Kamal Haasan

Actor Kamal Haasan, who is currently shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, has confirmed in a media interaction that he’s writing a script for Maalik director Mahesh Narayanan. However, he did not reveal anything about the nature of the project or the cast and crew.

Kamal recently watched Maalik on the sets of Vikram and was later joined by Mahesh and Fahadh Faasil. Kamal praised the filmmaker, who had edited his Vishwaroopam series. 

During the interaction, the actor opened up about the status of his upcoming projects. He also shed light on Indian 2, which has been stalled for the past few months. The actor said nearly 60% of the film has been shot and that efforts are being made to complete the project.

Recently, the makers of Vikram unveiled the film’s first look poster and it was extremely well received. As per reports, the film sees Kamal play a secret agent. Vikram also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh.
